Why you need to do PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course

For many people who have done the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course, they said it’s challenging and fun, I would agree. The lure of the depth, there’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Sometime it’s a wreck that attracts you bellow 18 meters, or an interesting wall dives with a giant fan or sponge or even mola-mola. Whatever it is, to dive with confidence at depth down to 40 meters, the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course help you prepare for it.

My training began with a review of the course theory. We also learned the important of knowing your personal and training limit. During my 4 PADI Deep Specialty dives with my instructor we went over the specialized deep diving equipment, deep dive planning, buddy procedures, buoyancy control, managing our air supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety consideration.

PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course

There is many reasons to do this course. For me, it became apparent it was needed when I saw my first mola mola at Manta Point at 24 meters and my second encounter at Crystal Bay at 34 meters depth, beyond my training limit, so I could only see its dorsal fin when it’s swim away into the blue. It is my goal to dive with them this coming season so I can get a good view and perhaps some video. Another reason why I did my Deep Divers Specialty course was to gain experience and more confidence at depth down to 40 meters.
Now I’m ready to explore deeper dive sites, find new creatures, see mola mola and others big fish, there’s no words that can describe what I felt and how proud I am to have experienced this.

Well, actually you can experience this for yourself by signing up for your PADI Deep Diver Specialty course with Ceningan Divers
