Eligibility and Prerequisites:
To qualify for the 2025 GoPro Divemaster Internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: High school or above
- Swimming Ability: Proficient swimmer with a keen interest in scuba diving
- Citizenship: Indonesian
- Language Skills: Basic English proficiency is advantageous
- Commitment: Available for 24 months, one year of professional training, plus a one-year employment contract as a Divemaster.
Applicants must also submit a compelling 500-word essay that describes a transformative life experience, explains their motivation to become a PADI Divemaster, and highlights how they envision this scholarship program to change their lives.

- Deadline for Entries: November 1st, 2024
- Submission Method: Email your application, essay, recent resume, and copy of KTP to info@ceningandivers.com
- Further Information: We reserve the right to request additional details, references, and copies of certificates or past training programs
- Interviews will be conducted throughout November
- Award Date: December 15th, 2024
- Program Start: On January 10th, 2025
- Winners Announcement will be made via personal email and announced on our various communication channels.
Scholarship Benefits:
Ceningan Divers 2025 GoPro Divemaster Scholarship covers:
- Training costs, including materials and PADI fees
- Gear rental
- Basic salary as per Ministry of Manpower and Klungkung Regency guidelines
- Monthly food and living allocation
- Diving insurance and much more
Successful candidates will receive a competitive industry salary upon completing the program. The scholarship is open to applicants from all parts of Indonesia, with the provision that they cover their transfer to Nusa Ceningan and personal expenses during the scholarship period.
Internship Experience and Future Opportunities:
During the internship, candidates will actively contribute to Ceningan Divers’ daily diving operations, marine conservation efforts, and local initiatives.
Successful completion of the PADI Divemaster training program (first year) will qualify candidates for a minimum 12-month employment contract, which will allow them to enhance their diving expertise and gain practical experience.
Pursuing further career development as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor may also be an option.
