Earlier this year we announced an open contest to select 2 candidates for our FREE PADI Lembongan Divemaster Internship Program. This once in a lifetime opportunity for 2 Indonesian candidates to be selected for a fully sponsored internship and work program with Ceningan Divers.
We received several applications between August 1st and November 1st 2017. Narrowing it down to 2 candidates was a hard process. However after reading their applications, essays, and conducting interviews with our finalists, we are happy to announce that we have selected two amazing candidates to join the Ceningan Divers family starting January 2018.
Meet the 2018 Ceningan Divers’ Lembongan Divemaster Internship Candidates.
Angga from Lombok
My name is Ridho, but everybody calls me Angga. I am 20 years old, working as an office staff at a diving centre on Gili Trawangan.
I grew up in small fishermen village with the family of my mother, this is where my love for the ocean is coming from. Playing on the beach, swimming in the ocean makes me happy, I enjoy the beach life I guess. Scuba diving is my passion, it gives me the satisfaction my heart is in need of.
I am so happy and very thankful to Ceningan Divers for giving me this great opportunity. I look very much forward to learn and work with this professional team, it will be so exciting to dive with the molas and mantas but most of all with this team! I am proud to join this professional team, for me it’s a dream come true.
I feel so blessed Ceningan Diver chosen me to become one of two students for this great opportunity. Work hard, learn, and enjoy life to the fullest, this will be the spirit I take with me to start this new opportunity.
Cynthia from Java
My name is Cynthia, 21 years old. I’m a fresh graduate with marine science degree from Universitas Padjadjaran. I decided to take marine science as my degree because I have always been interested by the ocean and all activity that related.
I was born and raised in Jakarta and currently I’m still living there. In my spare time I like to read either book or articles, listening to music, swimming, and spend time with my friends and family.
Being selected for the Free Lembongan Divemaster Internship is really exciting because this program will help me achieve my career goals, but I am also nervous.
I can’t wait to join the program and start this new adventurous journey with new surroundings.
