Ceningan Divers PADI Divemaster Internship Angga

Some time ago, my friend took me out for a Discover Scuba Diving experience. From that time on, I fell in love with the way PADI Pros share their experience in a safe and fun way. I became curious about scuba diving, hoping that one day I would become a PADI Divemaster.

My dream is now becoming a reality. I’m feeling blessed and thankful to Ceningan Divers and PADI for being chosen for this great opportunity; to do my PADI Divemaster Internship. Now, I’m realizing that diving is more than just a hobby, it’s a passion, a life experience requiring me to gain knowledge and hard work while having fun. Doing this PADI Divemaster Internship is awesome

Away from home. Ceningan Divers, PADI 5 star Dive Resort located on Nusa Ceningan, Bali is where I started this unforgettable adventure. Learning from a professional and experienced team is amazing. I enjoy going to my internship every day. The transfer of information and knowledge from the supportive instructors is important to help me in my development to become a proficient PADI Divemaster.

Starting from the beginning, communicating with local people, getting to know about the environment, scuba gears, dive sites, and more. Now I’ve done my PADI Open Water Diver Course, I’m on my way to become a PADI Pro.

My name is Cynthia, I’m doing my PADI Divemaster Internship and I love the ocean!

Ceningan Divers PADI Divemaster Internship Cynthia Someone told me the way of progress is neither swift nor easy. That’s what happened durring my Open Water Diver Course. I feel very lucky to have done my PADI OWDC with Ceningan Divers. Everything and everyone was supportive and help me go through this course eventhough I faced obstacles. We started with the theory, gaining knowledge of scuba diving and the gear, ocean in general including the living creatures. After we started practicing our skills in the pool. Having the opportinity to dive in the pool before going into the ocean really helped me with my skills.

The pool session was great because I could practice setting up my gear and my dive skills. During each sections of pool session, we got detailed advices from our instructor which really helped me improving my skills and gain coinfidence.

After the pool sessions, we dive in the ocean. I can’t deny that the nuance of the ocean where everything is dynamic totally different from the pool pose another challenged for me to overcome. We did 4 ocean dives around Nusa Ceningan, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Penida. The ocean was extremely impressive, we could see coral, many kind of fish, sea turtle, and even a banded krait creeping gracefully.

Beside witnessing the beauty of the underwater world and enjoying seeing many creatures, I was able to practice and improve my skills such as buoyancy, breathing, fin kicking, and finding my balance as I learn to dive and explore our ocean planet. Being able to see the marine creatures in their natural environment was very rewarding.

Eventhough I still have room for improvement, taking this first step towards my PADI Divemaster really helped me progress in a fun way.
