Once again this year, Ceningan Divers offered an amazing opportunity for two Indonesian citizens to join us for our PADI GoPRO Divemaster Scholarship!
Each year for the past 3 years, we have taken two Indonesian citizens for a 12 month all-inclusive PADI GoPRO Divemaster scholarship followed by a 12+ months full-time employment contract.
This year we received more than two dozens applicants for our program and narrowed down our selection to the top 5 candidates, ultimately our final selection came down to the two candidates that we felt would best fit in our team.
We are happy to introduce our two new PADI Divemaster Candidates!
Vita Puspita Sari
Joining us from Jakarta, is Vita Puspita Sari, better known as Mbot. Although Mbot was originally afraid to venture into the water, she had many friends that were scuba divers in Labuan Bajo that encouraged her to overcome her fears. She made her first splash in Gili Trawangan on a Discover Scuba Dive course where she encountered a shark! Although she initially felt fear to be in the presence of such a formidable predator, she was soon overcome with joy to be rewarded with such a unique experience. She is keen to learn as much as possible about marine life and is proud to call Indonesia home. She knows that the country has some of the worlds best dive sites and can’t wait to explore the underwater world. Mbot also feels a responsibility to help ensure that she does her part to help care for these unique environments.
In her spare time Mbot enjoys all aspects of music from singing, playing the guitar and listening to her favourite tunes. She is keen to meet new people from around the world and is looking forward to the epic sunsets on offer in the Nusas!
Abdul Wahab
Originally from north Bali’s Buleleng Regency, Abdul Wahab, better known as Wahab is keen to start his new journey in Nusa Paradise. Wahab loves spending time outdoors and is always ready for a new adventure. He is always pushing himself to try new experiences and has set his sights on exploring scuba diving as a career. Through his research of PADI programs, he is excited by the opportunity to expand his knowledge of the underwater world and hone his technical skills.
In his spare time, Wahab enjoys all manner of food. He is not afraid to try new dishes and has no problem finishing a meal no matter how large the portion! We look forward to feeding his appetite for scuba diving!
