Facilities and Setting.
Over the past year, we upgraded our facilities in anticipation of this next phase of development. This started with the construction of our new diving pool, one of the largest dedicated dive training pool on the Nusa Islands.
Last month, we started the work on our new training centre which will include a multi-media classroom with a complete PADI support library, digital teaching material on a large 4K screen, individualised storage space for the candidates, AC and internet access. Our new training centre will house a dedicated workshop and camera room for our candidates to train and practice their skills and/or assemble their camera safely pre and post-dive. We are also adding a dedicated equipment room for our candidates to store their dive gear, and lastly 2 shower/toilets. Our new training centre will be completed by the end of the year and ready for our first IDC in February.
Beyond our new training centre, our resort facilities includes 8 traditional Balinese thatched-roof bungalows, a restaurant, a bar, lounge with a large collection of board games, 2 pools, a mangrove nursery, a workshop area where we conduct daily marine and conservation program, our dive support facilities: Equipment room and compressor room, and a private jetty giving us easy access to go back and forth to the amazing, world-class dive sites around Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.
To ensure we can handle the needs of our candidates, we are also building another custom made dive boat, which will be delivered in November this year.
